Christmas has arrived at Sandyford Business District

Santa and his elves arrived at Beacon South Quarter on Thursday 28th November with over 300 children in attendance, and it was a magical evening all-round. The festive lights were switched on by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Cathaoirleach Shay Brennan, and the choir from Queen of Angels school provided the entertainment around the Christmas tree with their renditions of ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ and other festive favourites.

Santa is now busy going through all of the colourful letters which were posted in the Santa post box on the night, and he is looking forward to delivering gifts to all the good boys and girls on Christmas night!

Many thanks to all parents and guardians who braved the queues to bring their children to see Santa.

Wishing you all a warm and healthy holiday from the Sandyford Business District team.

This event was co-funded by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
